We are looking for an experienced and engaging **Freelance Faculty – Logistics & Operations Management** to deliver high-quality academic instruction for a PGDM program. The role is focused on helping students develop a strong conceptual and practical understanding of **operations management, logistics, supply chain management, procurement, inventory, transportation, warehousing, and quality management**.

The ideal candidate will combine strong subject-matter expertise with excellent communication and presentation skills, using real-world business examples, industry practices, and relevant case studies to make complex concepts practical and accessible.

## Requirements

Key Responsibilities

-   Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and academic sessions on **Logistics and Operations Management**.
-   Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, presentations, assignments, assessments, and case studies aligned with course objectives.
-   Explain operations, logistics, and supply chain concepts using practical business examples and industry scenarios.
-   Design and evaluate assignments, presentations, case studies, internal assessments, and examinations.
-   Prepare and review question papers and evaluate answer sheets as required.
-   Mentor students and provide academic guidance throughout the course.
-   Support students in applying operations and supply chain frameworks to practical business problems.
-   Guide students in analysing logistics, procurement, inventory, transportation, warehousing, and operational decisions.
-   Incorporate relevant industry practices, emerging technologies, and current supply chain developments into classroom learning.
-   Ensure timely completion of the prescribed syllabus within the academic schedule.
-   Collaborate with the academic and program teams to support effective curriculum delivery.
-   Use appropriate teaching technologies, learning management systems, virtual classrooms, and digital resources where required.
-   Continuously improve teaching approaches, course materials, and learning outcomes based on student feedback and academic requirements.

What Makes You a Great Fit

-   **3+ years of relevant teaching or industry experience** in Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related domains.
-   MBA/PGDM in **Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics**, or a related discipline.
-   Postgraduate qualifications in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Operations Research, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields will also be considered.
-   Strong understanding of **Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Procurement, and Quality Management**.
-   Practical knowledge of **Lean Management, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, ERP, WMS, TMS, logistics technology, and Industry 4.0** is desirable.
-   Experience teaching at **UG/PG or management education level** will be an advantage.
-   Industry experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, procurement, warehousing, transportation, or e-commerce fulfilment is preferred.
-   Strong ability to connect theoretical concepts with practical business applications and industry case studies.
-   Excellent **communication, presentation, facilitation, and classroom engagement skills**.
-   Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills with the ability to support students with different learning needs.
-   Experience developing academic content, assessments, case studies, and teaching resources.
-   Familiarity with **LMS platforms, online learning tools, virtual classrooms, and modern teaching technologies**is an advantage.
-   Ph.D., NET, or SET qualification would be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
