We are seeking an experienced **Piping Engineer** to support the design and engineering of piping systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, process plants, and EPC projects. This role is ideal for a professional with strong expertise in piping layouts, plant engineering, and multidisciplinary coordination who can contribute to the successful execution of complex infrastructure projects.

As a Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for developing piping designs, preparing technical documentation, reviewing engineering deliverables, and ensuring seamless integration of piping systems with mechanical, civil, instrumentation, and process engineering requirements. You will play a key role in optimizing plant layouts, ensuring maintainability and safety, and delivering designs that comply with industry standards and project specifications.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills to drive high-quality engineering outcomes across the project lifecycle.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Review P&IDs and process engineering inputs to develop efficient piping design solutions.
-   Prepare and review piping layouts, general arrangement drawings, isometric drawings, and piping support drawings.
-   Plan piping routing and layouts considering safety, operability, maintenance access, and project requirements.
-   Develop and review valve schedules, piping specifications, and technical datasheets.
-   Coordinate with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and process engineering teams to ensure design integration and project alignment.
-   Review 3D piping models and engineering deliverables prepared by internal teams or external partners.
-   Ensure all piping designs comply with applicable engineering standards, project specifications, and industry codes.
-   Prepare and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for piping systems and related components.
-   Provide technical support for equipment layout planning and piping integration activities.
-   Participate in design reviews and contribute technical recommendations for project optimization.
-   Support project execution through site visits, troubleshooting, and design clarification when required.
-   Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.
-   Identify design improvements that enhance system performance, reliability, and maintainability.

### What Makes You a Great Fit

-   Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
-   7–8 years of experience in piping engineering for water treatment, wastewater treatment, process plants, or EPC projects.
-   Strong understanding of piping design principles, engineering standards, and plant layout concepts.
-   Ability to interpret and work with P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and engineering specifications.
-   Experience preparing piping layouts, isometrics, support drawings, and technical documentation.
-   Knowledge of piping materials, valves, fittings, and related equipment used in treatment plants and process industries.
-   Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
