We are seeking a strategic and high-ownership **Director of Organic Growth** to lead and scale a comprehensive organic acquisition engine across multiple discovery channels. This role goes beyond traditional SEO, encompassing **Search Engine Optimization (SEO), App Store Optimization (ASO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and Extension Store optimization**.

As a senior leader, you will define the vision, own the roadmap, and lead a high-performing organic growth team. You will collaborate closely with **Product, Engineering, Content, Brand, and Marketing teams** to embed organic growth into core product and go-to-market strategies. Your work will directly impact **traffic, user acquisition, installs, revenue, and global brand visibility**.

## Requirements

**Key Responsibilities**

### Strategy & Leadership

-   Define and execute a **holistic organic growth strategy** across SEO, ASO, GEO, and extension platforms.
-   Set and track **quarterly and annual OKRs** tied to impressions, clicks, MAU, installs, and revenue.
-   Lead, mentor, and scale the organic growth team, fostering a culture of **experimentation and accountability**.
-   Own and prioritize the organic growth roadmap, balancing quick wins with long-term initiatives.
-   Partner cross-functionally to integrate organic growth into **product development, launches, and content strategy**.
-   Influence product roadmap decisions using **user intent, search trends, and competitive insights**.

### Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

-   Own end-to-end SEO performance across web properties.
-   Drive **on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies** to achieve and maintain top keyword rankings.
-   Lead technical SEO initiatives including **crawlability, indexation, site performance, and structured data**.
-   Oversee keyword research, content optimization, and content gap analysis.
-   Manage link-building and digital PR strategies to enhance domain authority.
-   Monitor algorithm updates and adapt strategies to sustain growth.

### Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)

-   Develop strategies to maximize visibility across **AI-driven search experiences**.
-   Optimize content and structure for **LLM-based discovery and citations**.
-   Define GEO metrics and run experiments to measure impact on traffic and conversions.
-   Conduct competitive analysis to improve share of voice in generative outputs.

### App Store Optimization (ASO)

-   Own app visibility and performance across **Apple App Store and Google Play Store**.
-   Optimize listings including titles, descriptions, keywords, and creative assets.
-   Drive ratings and reviews strategy to improve user trust and conversion.
-   Run A/B tests to continuously improve install conversion rates.
-   Collaborate on localization strategies for international markets.

### Extension Store Optimization

-   Manage visibility across **browser extension marketplaces** (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox).
-   Optimize listings and improve conversion rates through continuous testing.
-   Develop strategies to enhance ratings, reviews, and user engagement.
-   Align extension strategies with SEO and ASO for a unified organic presence.

### Analytics & Insights

-   Build and maintain dashboards tracking performance across all organic channels.
-   Define KPIs and ensure data-driven decision-making across the team.
-   Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
-   Manage and optimize the organic growth tech stack (e.g., analytics, SEO, ASO tools).

**Qualifications**

-   8–10 years of experience in **SEO and/or organic growth**, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
-   Proven success driving organic growth for **high-traffic platforms and consumer applications**.
-   Demonstrated ability to rank highly for competitive keywords and scale organic visibility from zero.
-   Deep expertise in **technical SEO, content strategy, and link-building**.
-   Hands-on experience with **ASO for iOS and/or Android apps**.
-   Strong understanding of **AI-driven search and emerging GEO practices**.
-   Proficiency with tools such as **Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog**, and ASO platforms.
-   Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML/CSS.
-   Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
-   Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
