## Description

**This role is for one of the Weekday's clients  
  
**We are seeking experts with advanced training in **Mathematics** to contribute to a cutting-edge project in collaboration with a leading AI research group. This initiative focuses on enhancing AI systems’ reasoning capabilities through rigorous **problem-solving** and **theorem-based evaluation**. As part of this role, you will apply graduate-level expertise to assess, validate, and improve complex mathematical reasoning.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Solve and evaluate challenging mathematics problems across multiple domains.
-   Review AI-generated proofs and solutions for **accuracy, rigor, and logical soundness**.
-   Provide structured feedback to refine and strengthen mathematical reasoning models.

### Ideal Qualifications

-   **Recent PhD in Mathematics** (within the past 4 years) OR **current PhD candidate** (≥3 years into their program; typically ≥4th year post-undergrad or ≥3rd year post-master’s).
-   Background from a **top 30 mathematics program**.
-   Actively engaged in research/academia preferred.
-   Strong foundation in **advanced problem-solving and theorem application**, with the ability to clearly articulate reasoning, reference theorems, and identify gaps in proofs or arguments.
