- Own hardware design and development activities across architecture, circuit design, PCB development, validation, and product integration.
- Define **high-speed digital architectures** using microcontrollers, microprocessors, and FPGA-based systems.
- Design and review systems incorporating **Xilinx, Altera, or Actel FPGAs**, associated tools, IPs, and supporting interfaces.
- Work with components including **DACs, ADCs, FPGAs, buffers, transceivers, LDOs, point-of-load regulators, 1553 devices, microprocessors, and microcontrollers**.
- Develop and review mixed-signal hardware architectures and ensure appropriate signal integrity and system performance.
- Work with communication and interface protocols including **USB, Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe, RS232, and MIL-STD-1553**.
- Drive hardware architecture decisions while ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review and validate component selection, tolerances, performance, reliability, availability, and manufacturability.
- Conduct design reviews, technical risk assessments, failure analysis, and design verification activities.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve component, production, and hardware-related issues.
- Support **EMC, ESS, certification, qualification, and product testing** activities.
