We are looking for a detail-oriented **Mobile Test Automation Engineer** with strong expertise in **Appium** and **Functional Testing** to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about automation testing, mobile technologies, and delivering seamless user experiences in fast-paced product environments.

As a Mobile Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks while validating end-to-end mobile application workflows. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to identify defects, improve product quality, and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. The role also requires a solid understanding of mobile application testing strategies, API validation, and quality assurance best practices to support high-quality software releases.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for native and hybrid mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.
-   Build and enhance mobile automation frameworks using Appium and industry best practices.
-   Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for mobile applications.
-   Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools to validate end-to-end business workflows.
-   Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely defect resolution.
-   Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster releases.
-   Execute testing across emulators, simulators, and real devices while validating platform-specific behaviors.
-   Analyze application logs, crashes, and performance metrics to improve application stability and reliability.
-   Maintain detailed test cases, defect reports, and test execution documentation using tools such as JIRA.
-   Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and quality planning to ensure applications are testable and meet business requirements.
-   Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve automation frameworks, QA processes, and overall product quality.
-   Stay updated with emerging mobile technologies, testing tools, and automation best practices.

### What Makes You a Great Fit

-   2–4 years of experience in mobile application testing and test automation.
-   Strong hands-on expertise in **Appium** and **Functional Testing**.
-   Experience testing native and hybrid mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
-   Proficiency in at least one programming language such as **Java**, Python, or JavaScript.
-   Good understanding of REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.
-   Working knowledge of **SQL** for backend data validation and testing.
-   Familiarity with mobile testing strategies, device-specific behavior, ADB commands, simulators, emulators, and real-device testing.
-   Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD tools including Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
-   Knowledge of BrowserStack, mobile performance analysis, crash monitoring, and debugging techniques is an advantage.
-   Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with a quality-first mindset.
-   Ability to work effectively in Agile environments while managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality software releases.
