We are looking for an experienced **Senior DSP Algorithm Engineer** to design, develop, analyse, and optimise advanced **Digital Signal Processing (DSP)** algorithms for communication, radar, telemetry, aerospace, defence, and research applications.

The role requires strong theoretical foundations in **DSP, digital communications, RF systems, probability, estimation theory, and signal processing**, combined with the ability to translate research papers, technical standards, and mathematical concepts into practical, high-performance algorithms.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across algorithm development, simulation, software implementation, FPGA-oriented design, and system-level integration.

## Requirements

### KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-   Study and derive DSP algorithms from **IEEE papers, research publications, technical standards, and documentation**.
-   Develop advanced algorithms for **digital communication, radar processing, telemetry, and RF systems**.
-   Design and implement modulation and demodulation algorithms including **PCM/FM, SOQPSK, CPM, QPSK, QAM**, and related techniques.
-   Develop carrier, symbol, and timing **synchronization and recovery algorithms**.
-   Design and implement channel coding and decoding algorithms such as **LDPC, Turbo, and Reed-Solomon**.
-   Develop filtering, estimation, detection, and signal-analysis algorithms.
-   Work on radar signal-processing techniques and real-time signal-processing applications.
-   Model and simulate algorithms using **MATLAB and Python**.
-   Translate algorithmic concepts into optimized **C/C++ implementations** and FPGA-friendly architectures using RTL.
-   Validate algorithms through mathematical analysis, simulation, test data, and performance benchmarking.
-   Analyse existing implementations and improve **accuracy, computational efficiency, latency, robustness, and overall performance**.
-   Optimise algorithms for **FPGA, GPU, embedded processors, and other hardware acceleration platforms**.
-   Collaborate with FPGA, embedded software, RF, hardware, and systems engineering teams.
-   Support algorithm integration, system testing, debugging, and performance evaluation.
-   Participate in technical architecture discussions and complex signal-processing problem solving.
-   Document algorithms, mathematical approaches, simulation results, implementation details, and performance evaluations.
-   Stay current with developments in **DSP, communication theory, radar processing, RF technologies, and signal-processing techniques**.
-   Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and contribute to small technical teams when required.

### WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

-   **4+ years of experience** in DSP algorithm development, signal processing, communications, radar, RF systems, or related engineering domains.
-   Bachelor's or Master's degree in **Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, or a related discipline**.
-   Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of **Digital Signal Processing and Digital Communications**.
-   Strong understanding of **RF systems, communication systems, radar signal processing, probability, random processes, and estimation theory**.
-   Hands-on experience developing algorithms from mathematical concepts, research papers, standards, or technical specifications.
-   Strong programming skills in one or more of **C, C++, MATLAB, or Python**.
-   Experience with **Verilog/VHDL or FPGA-oriented algorithm implementation** is highly desirable.
-   Knowledge of LabVIEW and hardware/software co-design environments is an advantage.
-   Experience working across both **software and hardware components** of signal-processing systems.
-   Strong understanding of modulation, synchronization, channel coding, filtering, detection, and estimation techniques.
-   Experience optimising algorithms for **latency, computational complexity, accuracy, and real-world operating conditions**.
-   Ability to translate algorithms into production-ready implementations for FPGA, embedded, GPU, or high-performance computing platforms.
-   Strong analytical, mathematical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
-   Experience collaborating with FPGA, embedded software, RF, hardware, and systems teams.
-   Ability to manage small technical teams and contribute effectively in cross-functional engineering environments.
-   Experience working on **defence, aerospace, telemetry, radar, communications, or government/DRDO-related projects** is an advantage.
-   Excellent technical communication and documentation skills.
-   Willingness to work from the **Hyderabad office** and travel periodically to client or vendor locations as required.
