We are seeking an experienced **Manager – Full-Stack Java Engineering** to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance software products and features. This role combines hands-on engineering expertise with technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and mentorship to build robust, secure, and future-ready applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java-based backend development, modern frontend frameworks, microservices architecture, and distributed systems. You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams to deliver user-centric solutions, improve system reliability, and drive engineering excellence. The role requires strong technical ownership, the ability to guide engineering teams, and a pragmatic approach to solving complex problems at scale.

## Requirements

## Key Responsibilities

-   Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and modern frontend technologies.
-   Architect and develop reliable microservices and user interfaces that support high-volume, mission-critical business applications.
-   Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering stakeholders to translate business requirements and user stories into technical solutions and actionable development plans.
-   Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers through code reviews, design discussions, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
-   Drive best practices in software architecture, coding standards, automated testing, agile development, and continuous integration.
-   Design and optimize RESTful APIs, relational database schemas, queries, and distributed system components.
-   Improve system reliability and operational excellence through monitoring, metrics, alerting, observability, and proactive risk management.
-   Participate in production support and on-call rotations, ensuring timely incident resolution and continuous system improvement.
-   Evaluate and implement appropriate technologies, tools, and architectural patterns to improve scalability, performance, and maintainability.
-   Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly while adhering to organizational policies and engineering standards.
-   Promote effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.

## Required Qualifications and Skills

-   **15–18 years of hands-on software engineering experience**, with strong expertise in full-stack application development.
-   Proficiency in **Java and Spring Boot**, including experience with related Spring frameworks, ORM tools, and enterprise application development.
-   Strong frontend development experience with **ReactJS** or other modern JavaScript frameworks, with the ability to adapt to new technologies as required.
-   Extensive experience designing and developing microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
-   Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
-   Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and design principles.
-   Experience building scalable, resilient, and maintainable software systems.
-   Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
-   Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance, mentor engineers, and influence engineering decisions.
-   Understanding of system observability, operational metrics, performance monitoring, and production reliability.

## Good-to-Have Skills

-   Experience in **advertising technology (AdTech)** or digital advertising platforms.
-   Familiarity with programmatic advertising, real-time bidding (RTB), and high-throughput advertising systems.
-   Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
-   Knowledge of DevOps and infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
-   Experience with data streaming and messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Amazon SNS, and Amazon SQS.
-   Familiarity with Vue.js, Angular, or other modern frontend frameworks.
-   Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment, and cloud-native application development.

## Education

-   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
-   Equivalent practical experience and a strong technical background may also be considered.
