We are looking for a skilled **Guidewire Integration Developer** with **2–8 years of experience** in designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions across the Guidewire InsuranceSuite ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in **Guidewire Integration (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter)**, web services, and enterprise application integrations. You will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performing integrations that enable seamless communication between Guidewire applications and external enterprise systems.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to understand integration requirements and implement reliable solutions that support business-critical insurance processes. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality integration solutions, optimizing system performance, and following Guidewire development best practices.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions for **Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter**.
-   Build and consume **SOAP and REST web services** for communication with external applications and third-party systems.
-   Develop and support **inbound and outbound integrations** using Guidewire integration frameworks and APIs.
-   Configure and maintain **messaging queues**, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven communication mechanisms.
-   Develop and optimize **batch processes** and **work queues** to automate large-scale data processing and background operations.
-   Create and customize **Guidewire plugins, integration points, and extension components** based on business requirements.
-   Implement and manage **Application Events (App Events)** for real-time business event processing.
-   Build and maintain integrations using the **Guidewire Integration Gateway** and Cloud APIs where applicable.
-   Participate in system integration testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities across development, QA, and production environments.
-   Troubleshoot integration issues, monitor application performance, and optimize existing integration workflows.
-   Ensure integration solutions follow security, scalability, and performance best practices.
-   Prepare technical documentation, integration specifications, and deployment guides.
-   Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases within project timelines.

### Must-Have Skills

-   Strong experience with **Guidewire Integration**, including **PolicyCenter (PC), ClaimCenter (CC), and BillingCenter (BC)**.
-   Hands-on experience developing **SOAP and REST Web Services**.
-   Expertise in designing and implementing **Inbound Integrations**.
-   Experience with **Outbound Integrations** and enterprise system connectivity.
-   Strong understanding of **Guidewire Messaging Framework** and **Messaging Queues**.
-   Experience developing and maintaining **Batch Processes** and **Work Queues**.
-   Knowledge of **Guidewire Plugins**, Integration Points, and extension mechanisms.

### Good-to-Have Skills

-   Experience with Guidewire Cloud implementations.
-   Knowledge of Java, Gosu, or enterprise integration technologies.
-   Familiarity with message brokers such as JMS, Kafka, or MQ.
-   Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
-   Understanding of insurance domain processes including Policy Administration, Claims, or Billing.
-   Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

### Qualifications

-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
-   **2–8 years of experience** in Guidewire Integration development.
