Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for an experienced **.NET Software Developer** to join a high-performance product engineering environment focused on building scalable, innovative, and customer-centric software solutions.

The role is suited for a strong backend or full-stack engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, designing scalable systems, and turning product ideas into production-ready applications. You will work on challenging engineering problems involving high-scale applications, large volumes of data, and systems designed to support significant user and transaction loads.

This is a **product engineering-focused role**, with opportunities to contribute to product design, architecture, development, performance optimisation, and technical decision-making rather than primarily working on maintenance or support activities.

## Requirements

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable product features using **C# and .NET Core**.
- Work closely with customers and product teams to understand product vision, requirements, and technical challenges.
- Translate business requirements into robust and scalable software solutions.
- Contribute to product architecture, technical design, implementation, and engineering decisions.
- Develop high-performance backend services and **RESTful APIs** using ASP.NET Core.
- Build applications capable of handling high traffic, large datasets, and demanding workloads.
- Design and optimise database interactions using **SQL Server and relational database systems**.
- Apply strong object-oriented design principles, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Optimise application performance, scalability, reliability, and resource utilisation.
- Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to automated testing, debugging, deployment, and continuous improvement activities.
- Evaluate technical approaches and identify opportunities to improve system architecture and engineering efficiency.
- Stay current with modern **.NET technologies, software architecture patterns, and product engineering practices**.

What Makes You a Great Fit

- **4+ years of professional software development experience** with strong hands-on expertise in **C# and .NET**.
- Strong experience with **.NET Core and ASP.NET Core**.
- Proven experience building scalable backend applications and **RESTful APIs**.
- Strong understanding of **MVC and web application architecture**.
- Hands-on experience with **SQL Server and RDBMS**, including database design and query optimisation.
- Strong understanding of **object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles**.
- Experience working on scalable applications handling high traffic, large datasets, or complex workloads.
- Strong understanding of **scalable system design, performance optimisation, and application reliability**.
- Experience with **Angular or React** is an advantage.
- Exposure to product design, architecture, or end-to-end product development is highly desirable.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical deliverables, and make sound engineering decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong interest in solving complex product engineering challenges and building software with real-world scale and impact.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in **Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline** is preferred.
