**This role is for one of the Weekday's clients**

**Salary range: Rs 4500000 - Rs 9000000 (ie INR 45-90 LPA)**

Being a part of the founding team, you will help build core product — AI-powered content and creator storefronts, and the commerce infrastructure that connects content to purchase. You will be in the middle of the design, development, and deployment cycles, and will be fully hands-on.

**WHAT YOU'LL BUILD**

-   Consumer-facing and WhatsApp commerce surfaces for _curated commerce_, based on OTT/ long form and other creator content and tastes
-   AI-powered product catalog and matching pipelines using multimodal models
-   Creator commerce storefronts — product listings, cart logic, affiliate integration
-   Connecting to OTT platforms, social platforms, and brand catalog backends
-   Internal tooling to help the team move fast: data pipelines, test harnesses
-   Adapt and rebuild fast as the product, and use cases evolve

## Requirements

**TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS**

-   Build and ship AI pipelines end-to-end — LLM APIs, multimodal models, embeddings, vector search
-   Strong backend fundamentals across Python or Node.js — async queues, REST/ webhook integrations, and the ability to work with messy third-party APIs. Additionally, strong understanding of PostgreSQL, Redis, or a vector DB
-   Mobile-capable — React Native preferred; can ship a working consumer-facing surface
-   Data pipeline instinct — scraping, ingestion, cleaning, structuring unstructured content into something queryable
-   Vibe-codes fluently — uses Cursor, v0, Bolt or equivalent as force multipliers; ships fast, doesn't wait for perfect specs

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**

-   6-8 years of hands-on engineering experience shipping products. Bengaluru-based
-   Has handled real complexity — e-commerce, quick commerce, consumer tech, gaming, fintech, or AI-native products. Not large service-oriented organisations  
    Bonus:  
    o Exposure to marketplace infrastructure — inventory, order state, seller/creator/ affiliate logic, catalog ingestion, cart/checkout flows, WhatsApp commerce  
    o Built something with an LLM, experimented with multimodal APIs, and have opinions about where models are useful. Genuine curiosity here is non-negotiable
-   Comfortable with the uncertainty that comes with early-stage; understands that building something genuinely new means the map doesn't exist yet
