We are looking for a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CWA) Fresher to join as a Management Trainee in the Credit function. This role offers a strong foundation in credit underwriting, risk assessment, and financial analysis within the banking and MSME lending space. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on exposure to end-to-end loan processing, customer evaluation, and portfolio monitoring while working closely with business and risk teams.

## Requirements

**Financial & Credit Responsibilities**

-   Conduct detailed customer assessments through field visits to business locations, residences, and collateral sites
-   Prepare credit assessment memos, including financial analysis and cash flow evaluation
-   Evaluate collateral, including legal and technical due diligence
-   Perform credit checks and ensure compliance with documentation requirements
-   Recommend and underwrite proposals in line with internal policies and procedures
-   Support loan disbursement processes, ensuring accuracy and zero-error execution
-   Monitor early delinquencies and identify potential risk cases to maintain a healthy portfolio
-   Assist in managing post-disbursement documentation and compliance

**Operational Responsibilities**

-   Process loan files within defined turnaround times (TAT)
-   Coordinate with business teams to ensure seamless proposal processing
-   Stay updated on local market conditions, including economic, legal, and industry developments
-   Provide inputs and updates to senior stakeholders on potential risks or market changes
-   Support internal teams through knowledge sharing on products, policies, and processes

**Compliance & Risk Responsibilities**

-   Resolve audit queries and ensure adherence to internal and regulatory guidelines
-   Maintain strict confidentiality of customer and organizational data
-   Review early warning signals and non-starter cases with due diligence
-   Ensure full compliance with company policies and risk frameworks

**Functional Competencies**

-   Basic understanding of mortgage lending and MSME credit evaluation
-   Knowledge of credit bureau checks, property valuation, legal reports, and documentation
-   Awareness of banking and financial parameters used in borrower assessment
-   Strong documentation and analytical skills
