We are looking for a highly skilled and entrepreneurial **Forward Deployed Engineer** with **4–6 years of experience** to work at the intersection of software engineering, backend development, and customer-facing technical problem-solving. In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to understand complex business challenges and rapidly design, build, and deploy scalable technology solutions.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will take ownership of solving real-world technical problems in dynamic environments. You will collaborate directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and develop production-ready software. This role requires strong hands-on engineering capabilities, particularly in **software engineering and backend development**, along with the ability to operate independently and thrive in ambiguous situations.

## Requirements

Key Responsibilities

-   Work closely with customers, business stakeholders, and internal teams to understand technical requirements and business challenges.
-   Design, develop, test, and deploy robust software solutions tailored to customer and organizational needs.
-   Build scalable and high-performance backend systems, APIs, services, and integrations.
-   Translate complex business requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans.
-   Take ownership of projects from initial discovery and solution design through development, deployment, and ongoing improvement.
-   Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
-   Debug and resolve complex technical issues across applications, services, and system integrations.
-   Develop and maintain clean, reliable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

-   **4–6 years of professional experience in software engineering or related technical roles.**
-   Strong hands-on experience in **software engineering**, including designing, developing, testing, and maintaining production-quality applications.
-   Solid expertise in **backend development**, including building APIs, backend services, databases, and distributed systems.
-   Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, data structures, and algorithms.
-   Experience working with databases, APIs, third-party integrations, and cloud-based applications.
-   Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
-   Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
-   Ability to work independently, take ownership, and make sound technical decisions.
-   Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-   Comfortable working directly with customers and translating business problems into technical solutions.

Good-to-Have Skills

-   Previous experience as an **Engineering Manager**, technical lead, or in a role involving engineering leadership.
