We are seeking an experienced **Windows Administrator Lead** to oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise Windows infrastructure. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and enterprise IT operations who are passionate about delivering secure, reliable, and high-performing infrastructure.

As a Windows Administrator Lead, you will be responsible for managing Windows-based server environments, ensuring system availability, implementing security best practices, and driving operational excellence across enterprise infrastructure. You will work closely with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams to support business-critical systems while leading automation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
-   Administer Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, Organizational Units (OUs), and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
-   Manage core infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
-   Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability while proactively identifying improvement opportunities.
-   Implement security patches, updates, access controls, and endpoint protection to maintain a secure infrastructure.
-   Support compliance initiatives, security audits, and vulnerability remediation activities.
-   Manage virtualized environments using Hyper-V, VMware, or similar virtualization platforms.
-   Perform backup, recovery, disaster recovery planning, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
-   Troubleshoot complex Windows, application, and infrastructure issues while conducting root cause analysis and implementing permanent solutions.
-   Develop PowerShell automation scripts, maintain technical documentation, and support change and incident management processes.

### What Makes You a Great Fit

-   8+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration within enterprise environments.
-   Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and enterprise infrastructure management.
-   Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation.
-   Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs, and enterprise connectivity.
-   Experience with backup, monitoring, patch management, and disaster recovery solutions.
-   Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware.
-   Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365 administration, and ITIL-based operational processes is an advantage.
-   Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
