We are looking for an experienced **Python Developer** with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in **Python, FastAPI, and Kubernetes**, along with a solid understanding of modern backend engineering practices, microservices, containerization, and cloud-native application development.

You will be responsible for building reliable and high-performance backend services, developing RESTful APIs, integrating third-party systems, and contributing to the architecture and deployment of scalable applications. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work closely with engineering, product, QA, and DevOps teams.

## Requirements

Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using **Python**.
-   Build high-performance, secure, and maintainable REST APIs using **FastAPI**.
-   Develop and maintain microservices and backend components supporting business-critical applications.
-   Design efficient application architecture, data flows, and API integrations.
-   Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using **Kubernetes**.
-   Work with Docker and Kubernetes-based environments to ensure reliable application deployment and scalability.
-   Optimize backend services for performance, reliability, availability, and maintainability.
-   Integrate external APIs, databases, messaging systems, and other third-party services.
-   Implement appropriate logging, monitoring, error handling, and security practices.
-   Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
-   Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, architecture decisions, and engineering best practices.
-   Identify and resolve production issues and contribute to continuous improvement of backend systems.
-   Write clean, modular, reusable, and well-documented code.

Must-Have Skills

### Python

-   Strong hands-on experience with **Python development** and object-oriented programming.
-   Excellent understanding of Python frameworks, libraries, data structures, exception handling, and asynchronous programming.
-   Experience building scalable and production-grade backend applications.

### FastAPI

-   Strong experience developing RESTful APIs using **FastAPI**.
-   Understanding of API design, request validation, authentication, authorization, dependency injection, and asynchronous APIs.
-   Experience integrating FastAPI services with databases and external systems.

### Kubernetes

-   Strong practical experience with **Kubernetes** for deploying and managing backend applications.
-   Understanding of Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, namespaces, scaling, and troubleshooting.
-   Experience working with containerized applications and cloud-native environments.

Good-to-Have Skills

-   Experience with **pytest** for unit testing, integration testing, mocking, and test automation.
-   Hands-on experience with **Postman** for API testing, validation, debugging, and documentation.
-   Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Git, and cloud platforms.
-   Understanding of microservices architecture, observability, logging, and monitoring tools.
-   Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases.
