We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented **Junior Interior Designer** to join our growing design team. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional interior spaces while possessing excellent technical drafting and visualization skills. You will work closely with senior designers, architects, vendors, and clients to transform design concepts into practical, high-quality interiors across residential, commercial, hospitality, or retail projects.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing creativity with technical precision and is eager to contribute throughout the complete design lifecycle—from concept development and space planning to execution and site coordination.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Develop innovative interior design concepts that align with client requirements, project objectives, and budget constraints.
-   Create detailed layout plans, working drawings, furniture layouts, elevations, and construction documentation using **AutoCAD**.
-   Prepare accurate 3D models, visualizations, and presentation materials using **SketchUp** to effectively communicate design ideas.
-   Assist in space planning, material selection, furniture specification, lighting design, color schemes, and finish selection.
-   Collaborate with architects, project managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
-   Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, verify measurements, resolve design-related issues, and ensure compliance with approved plans.
-   Coordinate with procurement teams regarding furniture, fixtures, materials, and décor elements.
-   Review shop drawings and vendor submissions to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
-   Maintain project documentation, drawing revisions, BOQs, and design specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
-   Stay updated on emerging interior design trends, sustainable materials, and innovative space-planning techniques.

### Required Skills

### Must-Have Skills

-   Strong expertise in **Interior Design** principles, including space planning, furniture layouts, material selection, lighting, and color coordination.
-   Proficiency in **AutoCAD** for preparing detailed technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction documentation.
-   Hands-on experience with **SketchUp** for developing accurate 3D models and client-ready visual presentations.
-   Excellent understanding of design standards, building materials, finishes, and construction processes.
-   Ability to interpret architectural drawings and translate concepts into functional interior designs.
-   Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and visualization abilities.
-   Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and clients.
-   Ability to manage multiple design assignments while meeting project deadlines.

### Qualifications

-   Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
-   2–5 years of professional experience in interior design projects.
-   Experience across residential, commercial, office, hospitality, or retail interiors is preferred.
-   A strong design portfolio demonstrating technical drawings, 3D visualizations, and completed projects will be an added advantage.
