We are seeking an experienced **System Admin – DBA** to manage enterprise infrastructure, database administration, and **Infor LN** environments while ensuring high system availability, security, and operational efficiency. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in system administration, database management, and ERP platform support who are passionate about maintaining mission-critical business systems.

As a System Admin – DBA, you will work closely with infrastructure, application, ERP, and business teams to administer servers, databases, and Infor LN environments. You will play a key role in system installation, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security implementation, troubleshooting, and infrastructure optimization while ensuring reliable and scalable enterprise operations.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Administer and maintain enterprise servers, operating systems, databases, and **Infor LN** environments to ensure optimal system performance and availability.
-   Install, configure, upgrade, and support infrastructure components, database platforms, and ERP environments based on business requirements.
-   Monitor system health, database performance, storage utilization, and infrastructure capacity while proactively identifying optimization opportunities.
-   Perform database administration activities including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, performance tuning, patching, and maintenance.
-   Manage Infor LN application environments, system configurations, integrations, upgrades, and user administration.
-   Implement high-availability strategies, disaster recovery procedures, and business continuity plans to minimize operational risks.
-   Monitor and optimize database queries, indexing strategies, storage allocation, and server resources for improved application performance.
-   Administer security controls, user access management, authentication mechanisms, and system hardening in accordance with organizational policies.
-   Troubleshoot infrastructure, database, ERP, and application issues while performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent resolutions.
-   Coordinate with application developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to support enterprise projects and production environments.
-   Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, system architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
-   Identify opportunities to automate routine administration tasks using scripting and infrastructure management tools to improve operational efficiency.

### What Makes You a Great Fit

-   6+ years of experience in **System Administration**, **Database Administration (DBA)**, and enterprise application support.
-   Strong hands-on expertise in **Infor LN** administration, implementation support, and ERP environment management.
-   Experience administering enterprise databases, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, database optimization, and security management.
-   Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration, storage management, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure.
-   Experience supporting high-availability environments, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity strategies.
-   Familiarity with database monitoring, capacity planning, patch management, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
-   Knowledge of networking fundamentals, authentication mechanisms, access control, and enterprise security best practices.
-   Experience working with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Shell, or Python for automation is an added advantage.
-   Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex production issues.
-   Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across infrastructure, ERP, development, and business teams.
-   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, with relevant certifications in database administration, system administration, or Infor technologies considered an advantage.
