We are seeking a **YouTube-focused video editor** who knows how to transform raw footage into **captivating, binge-worthy videos**.

This role goes beyond basic editing — you must have a mindset centered on **storytelling, pacing, and maintaining audience engagement**.

## Requirements

### 🎥 Responsibilities

-   Edit **long-form YouTube videos (8–20 minutes)** with a strong focus on storytelling
-   Organize videos to ensure:

-   Compelling hooks within the first 10–20 seconds
-   Seamless flow and pacing
-   High viewer retention

-   Incorporate:

-   Motion graphics, zoom effects, cuts, and memes where appropriate
-   B-roll footage, sound effects, and music to enhance engagement

-   Collaborate with creators and founders to **transform ideas into captivating narratives**
-   Optionally, repurpose long-form content into **short-form videos (preferred)**
-   Regularly refine edits based on **audience retention and overall performance**

### 🧠 Qualifications

-   1 to 4 years of experience in **YouTube video editing**
