We are looking for a skilled **QA Automation Engineer** to design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing solutions that improve software quality and release reliability. The role requires strong expertise in **test automation frameworks, programming, CI/CD integration, functional testing, regression testing, and automation best practices**.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Development, Product, DevOps, and QA teams to expand automation coverage and ensure high-quality releases across web, mobile, and OTT applications.

## Requirements

Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, and maintain scalable **test automation frameworks**.
-   Create and execute automated test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and other relevant testing scenarios.
-   Develop automated tests for **web, mobile, and OTT applications**.
-   Integrate automated test suites into **CI/CD pipelines** to support continuous testing and reliable releases.
-   Use automation frameworks such as **Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools**.
-   Develop automation solutions using **Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or other suitable programming languages**.
-   Analyse test failures, investigate root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
-   Review business requirements, technical designs, and application changes from a testability and automation perspective.
-   Maintain, refactor, and enhance existing automation frameworks to improve reliability and maintainability.
-   Increase automation coverage across critical application workflows and regression scenarios.
-   Develop reusable test components, utilities, libraries, and automation scripts.
-   Define and follow automation standards, coding practices, documentation, and quality engineering guidelines.
-   Collaborate with Manual QA, Development, DevOps, Product, and other stakeholders to improve release quality.
-   Support test planning, execution, reporting, defect tracking, and release validation.
-   Participate in CI/CD and deployment workflows and troubleshoot automation failures within pipelines.
-   Evaluate and recommend appropriate automation tools, frameworks, and technologies.
-   Contribute to performance, API, integration, and other non-functional testing initiatives where required.
-   Identify opportunities to improve test execution speed, reliability, scalability, and overall QA efficiency.
-   Maintain technical documentation for automation frameworks, test suites, processes, and standards.
-   Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor team members where required.

What Makes You a Great Fit

-   **3+ years of experience** in QA Automation, Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
-   Strong hands-on experience with at least one automation framework such as **Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar tools**.
-   Strong programming experience in at least one language such as **Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python**.
-   Proven experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated testing frameworks.
-   Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into **CI/CD pipelines**.
-   Good understanding of **SDLC, software testing methodologies, test strategies, and QA processes**.
-   Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
-   Experience designing reliable, reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation solutions.
-   Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
-   Experience with **API testing and automation** would be an advantage.
-   Experience testing **web, mobile, and OTT applications** is highly desirable.
-   Familiarity with **GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools**.
-   Experience with performance testing and non-functional testing would be an advantage.
-   Strong understanding of Git and modern software development workflows.
-   Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across QA, Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams.
-   Ability to work independently, manage multiple testing priorities, and take ownership of automation deliverables.
-   Experience defining automation standards, best practices, and technical documentation is desirable.
-   Technical leadership, mentoring, or contributions to **open-source projects** would be an advantage.
-   Bachelor's degree in **Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline**, or equivalent practical experience.
