We are seeking an experienced IT Lead with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience to oversee IT infrastructure, technology deployments, network operations, and end-user support. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in LAN/WAN connectivity, desktop configuration, hardware asset management, and vendor coordination.

The role involves managing technology deployments, ensuring system availability, maintaining network infrastructure, and overseeing day-to-day IT operations. Experience working in the defence sector and familiarity with SAP or SAP ERP environments will be advantageous.

## Requirements

## Key Responsibilities

-   Manage multiple small- and large-scale technology deployments, including LAN/WAN connectivity, network interconnects, and desktop infrastructure.
-   Oversee PC and desktop design, configuration, installation, maintenance, and technical support.
-   Provide technical oversight of customer network architecture and ensure infrastructure reliability.
-   Ensure the availability and smooth functioning of IT systems, equipment, and services for all users.
-   Manage user access, user administration, and day-to-day IT troubleshooting.
-   Ensure compliance with established change control and incident management processes.
-   Respond promptly to hardware and equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, and coordinate repairs or replacements.
-   Manage hardware assets, including tracking, maintenance, and replacement planning.
-   Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
-   Keep relevant departments and stakeholders informed about incident status, deployment progress, and resolution timelines.
-   Monitor IT infrastructure performance and ensure continuity of day-to-day operations.

## Required Qualifications and Experience

-   Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, network operations, and technology deployment.
-   BE or Diploma in Information Technology.
-   Strong practical experience managing LAN/WAN infrastructure and hardware assets.
-   Experience in vendor management and end-user IT support.
