We are looking for a skilled **BIW Design Engineer** with hands-on experience in automotive Body-in-White component design. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in **UG NX and Teamcenter**, along with a solid understanding of BIW components, sheet metal design, packaging requirements, and design for manufacturability and assembly.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design and develop **BIW components for passenger vehicles** using UG NX.
-   Demonstrate strong knowledge of various BIW components and their functional requirements.
-   Design components considering available **packaging space, material selection, material grade, material properties, and sheet thickness**.
-   Apply **Design for Manufacturability (DFM)** and **Design for Assembly (DFA)** principles throughout the design process.
-   Develop robust sheet metal designs while considering manufacturing feasibility and assembly requirements.
-   Apply appropriate **tolerance concepts and GD&T principles** to ensure component quality and functional performance.
-   Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve design and feasibility issues.
-   Manage CAD data, revisions, and product structures using **Teamcenter PLM**.
-   Ensure designs meet required technical, functional, manufacturing, and quality standards.

### Required Skills & Experience

-   Strong hands-on experience with **UG NX** for automotive component design.
-   Proficiency in **Teamcenter PLM**.
-   Good understanding of **BIW components and passenger vehicle body structures**.
-   Experience in BIW component design considering packaging and manufacturing constraints.
-   Strong knowledge of **sheet metal design**.
-   Understanding of material grades, material properties, and thickness selection.
-   Knowledge of **tolerancing, DFM, and DFA** principles.
-   Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
