We are looking for an experienced **Prime Services Risk professional** to support risk management across a global financial markets environment. The role focuses on institutional client portfolio risk, margin assessment, risk methodology, reporting, and analytics across Prime Services and financing activities.

You will work closely with **Sales, Trading, Client Services, Risk, and global business teams** to assess client portfolios, identify emerging risks, support margin decisions, and develop robust risk frameworks and analytical solutions.

### Key Responsibilities

### Prime Services & Portfolio Risk

-   Conduct quantitative risk assessments of **institutional client portfolios**, including hedge funds and other sophisticated investors.
-   Analyze portfolios to identify potential risk concentrations, vulnerabilities, and emerging exposures.
-   Assess trade-level and portfolio-level risk to support appropriate client margin requirements.
-   Respond to client-related risk and margin queries in collaboration with relevant business teams.
-   Support risk decisions for new business and changing client exposures.

### Risk & Margin Methodology

-   Develop and enhance **risk and margin methodologies** for Prime Services and financing activities.
-   Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk platforms and analytical tools.
-   Support margin-setting decisions at the trade and portfolio level.
-   Apply risk concepts including **VaR, stress testing, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis**.
-   Continuously improve methodologies based on market developments, portfolio characteristics, and business requirements.

### Risk Analytics & Reporting

-   Analyze large datasets and develop risk dashboards using **SQL, Python, Power BI, and Excel**.
-   Build and maintain risk reporting suites with consistent global standards.
-   Develop analytical solutions for recurring and ad-hoc risk requirements.
-   Improve reporting automation, data quality, and analytical efficiency.
-   Translate complex risk information into clear insights for senior stakeholders.

### Business & Stakeholder Management

-   Partner closely with **Sales, Trading, Client Services, Risk, and control functions** globally.
-   Support discussions around client margin terms and risk considerations for new business.
-   Assist with decisions involving contractual and business obligations.
-   Work with internal control partners and relevant stakeholders on regulatory and risk-related queries.
-   Communicate complex financial and risk concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

### What's Makes You a Great Fit

-   **8+ years of relevant professional experience**, preferably within financial services and Global Markets.
-   Degree or equivalent qualification in **Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Operational Research, Computer Science**, or a related quantitative discipline.
-   Strong understanding of **Equities, Equity Derivatives, Convertible Bonds, Fixed Income, Repo, Futures, and Options**.
-   Experience in **Prime Brokerage, Prime Services, Equity Financing, Treasury, or Risk Management** is highly preferred.
-   Strong knowledge of financial risk concepts including **VaR, stress testing, scenario analysis, margin, and portfolio risk**.
-   Hands-on experience with **SQL, Python, Power BI, VBA, and advanced MS Excel**.
-   Understanding of Prime Brokerage and financing businesses, including client objectives and risk considerations.
-   Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving capabilities.
-   Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
-   Ability to work independently, take ownership, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced financial markets environment.
-   Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
-   Good awareness of **macroeconomic trends and their potential impact on financial markets and client portfolios**.
-   Professional certifications such as **FRM, CFA Level II, CAIA**, or equivalent financial education are an advantage.
