We are looking for an experienced and strategic **Head of TechOps & Security** to lead our technology operations, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security functions. This role is ideal for a technology leader with **12–18 years of experience** who can build highly reliable, secure, scalable, and well-governed technology environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on and leadership experience across **AWS DevOps, DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, security, automation, and cloud governance**. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business leadership to establish robust technology operations, strengthen security posture, improve system reliability, and create scalable governance frameworks.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Lead the overall **TechOps, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, and Security** strategy in alignment with business and technology objectives.
-   Design and manage highly available, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure primarily across **AWS cloud environments**.
-   Establish and improve DevOps practices, including **CI/CD, infrastructure automation, configuration management, observability, monitoring, and incident management**.
-   Build and mentor high-performing teams across DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, cloud operations, and security.
-   Define and implement **cloud governance frameworks**, standards, policies, and controls covering infrastructure, access, security, compliance, and resource management.
-   Drive infrastructure-as-code and automation using tools such as **Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible**, or equivalent technologies.
-   Establish strong cloud security practices around **IAM, networking, encryption, secrets management, logging, vulnerability management, and access controls**.
-   Develop disaster recovery, business continuity, backup, and high-availability strategies for critical systems.
-   Partner with engineering teams to integrate security and operational best practices into the software development lifecycle.
-   Establish effective monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, performance management, and operational excellence practices.
-   Own technology risk management, security assessments, audits, and remediation programs.
-   Identify opportunities to optimize cloud infrastructure and improve **AWS cost management and resource utilization**.
-   Develop and maintain policies for technology operations, security, access management, and cloud usage.
-   Lead responses to major infrastructure incidents and security events, ensuring timely resolution and root-cause analysis.
-   Stay current with emerging cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, and infrastructure technologies and evaluate their applicability to the organization.

### Required Qualifications

-   **12–18 years of overall experience** in technology infrastructure, DevOps, cloud operations, SRE, cybersecurity, or related domains.
-   Proven experience leading **TechOps, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and/or Security teams**.
-   Strong expertise in **AWS cloud services and AWS DevOps practices**.
-   Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, orchestration, automation, and infrastructure-as-code.
-   Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, IAM, monitoring, logging, and security.
-   Experience establishing and enforcing **Cloud Governance** frameworks and operational standards.
-   Strong understanding of security principles, risk management, compliance, and technology controls.
-   Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
