We are looking for a highly hands-on and execution-focused **Chartered Accountant** with strong experience in **D2C, e-commerce, retail, or consumer-facing businesses**. The role will take ownership of core finance operations, including accounting, financial reporting, taxation, compliance, cash flow, AP/AR, inventory accounting, and financial controls.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a high-growth, transaction-intensive environment and have a strong understanding of marketplace settlements, inventory-led businesses, vendor management, payment gateways, and financial reconciliations. This is a role for someone who can operate independently, bring structure to finance processes, and maintain strong financial discipline as the business scales.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and financial closures.
-   Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
-   Prepare and review MIS, P&L, balance sheets, cash-flow statements, and other management reports.
-   Manage **Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable**, including vendor payments, collections, ageing, billing, and reconciliations.
-   Handle marketplace reconciliations covering settlements, deductions, claims, returns, refunds, and payment discrepancies.
-   Manage inventory accounting and stock reconciliations across high-volume operations.
-   Oversee accounting activities across platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, Nykaa, payment gateways, and other marketplaces.
-   Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, audits, and other statutory compliances.
-   Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
-   Ensure financial records, supporting documents, and reporting processes remain accurate and audit-ready.
-   Strengthen internal controls, finance processes, and reconciliation mechanisms.
-   Monitor cash flow, working capital, payment planning, and overall financial health.
-   Identify process gaps and implement improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and financial discipline.

-   Qualified **Chartered Accountant (CA)** with **5+ years of post-qualification experience**.
-   Mandatory experience managing finance operations for a business with **₹100 Cr+ revenue**.
