We are seeking an experienced **Commercial Manager** to lead commercial operations, bid management, proposal development, and contract administration for strategic business opportunities. This role is responsible for managing the complete commercial lifecycle—from evaluating customer requirements and responding to **RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs** to negotiating contracts and ensuring successful commercial execution.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in bid management, commercial negotiations, proposal development, contract management, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination. You will work closely with sales, business development, finance, legal, delivery, and technical teams to develop competitive commercial proposals that align with business objectives while minimizing commercial risk.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Manage the complete bid lifecycle, including reviewing, analyzing, and responding to **RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs**.
-   Lead the preparation of high-quality commercial proposals, bid responses, pricing models, and contractual documentation.
-   Collaborate with sales, technical, finance, legal, and delivery teams to develop competitive and compliant bid submissions.
-   Evaluate commercial risks, contractual obligations, pricing structures, and profitability before proposal submission.
-   Review customer contracts, identify commercial and legal risks, and coordinate negotiations to achieve favorable business outcomes.
-   Develop pricing strategies and commercial models that balance competitiveness with business profitability.
-   Maintain bid schedules, proposal timelines, approval workflows, and submission compliance requirements.
-   Support contract negotiations, amendments, renewals, and post-award commercial activities.
-   Ensure compliance with organizational policies, customer requirements, regulatory guidelines, and contractual obligations.
-   Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to support successful business development initiatives.
-   Track bid performance, proposal success rates, contract milestones, and commercial KPIs while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
-   Maintain commercial documentation, proposal repositories, templates, and contract records for future reference and audit purposes.

### What Makes You a Great Fit

-   Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline; MBA is an added advantage.
-   5+ years of experience in Commercial Management, Bid Management, Proposal Management, Contract Management, or Business Development support.
-   Proven experience managing **RFP**, **RFQ**, and **RFI** responses for enterprise customers.
-   Strong expertise in commercial proposal development, pricing strategies, bid coordination, and contract negotiations.
-   Experience reviewing commercial terms, contractual clauses, risk assessments, and compliance requirements.
-   Strong understanding of procurement processes, tender management, and commercial governance.
-   Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate pricing models, profitability, and commercial risks.
-   Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing customer-facing proposals and executive presentations.
-   Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building capabilities.
-   Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and proposal management or CRM tools.
-   A proactive, results-oriented professional with strong commercial acumen and a collaborative approach to driving business growth through successful bid and contract management.
