We are looking for an experienced and results-driven **Team Lead – Health Counselling & Sales** to lead, coach, and manage a team of Health Counsellors while driving customer conversions, revenue, and overall sales performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in **B2C sales, inside sales, or telesales**, along with proven team-handling capabilities. This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate sales teams, improve conversion performance, coach counsellors, manage pipelines, and ensure consistently high-quality customer interactions.

## Requirements

### KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-   Lead, manage, motivate, and coach a team of **Health Counsellors**.
-   Set daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations and sales objectives.
-   Monitor individual and team performance against sales, conversion, productivity, and revenue targets.
-   Conduct regular one-on-one reviews, performance discussions, and coaching sessions.
-   Identify performance gaps and implement structured improvement plans.
-   Coach team members on consultative selling, communication, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.
-   Ensure effective engagement with prospective customers and high-quality customer conversations.
-   Guide counsellors in understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate healthcare plans or services.
-   Monitor customer interactions, sales pitches, follow-ups, and conversion quality.
-   Support counsellors in handling objections and closing challenging opportunities.
-   Step in on complex, escalated, or high-value customer conversations when required.
-   Drive monthly sales, conversion, revenue, and productivity targets.
-   Track key metrics including lead-to-call conversion, call-to-sale conversion, revenue, follow-up performance, and individual productivity.
-   Analyse sales performance data and take corrective action to improve results.
-   Prepare and share regular performance and sales reports with management.
-   Ensure proper allocation, tracking, and follow-up of leads.
-   Monitor pipeline health, follow-up activity, and ageing leads to minimise missed opportunities.
-   Improve lead conversion, customer engagement, and retention through effective follow-up strategies.
-   Conduct product, sales, process, and customer communication training for counsellors.
-   Conduct call audits and provide actionable feedback to improve sales conversations.
-   Share successful sales approaches, best practices, and winning strategies across the team.
-   Coordinate closely with Sales, Operations, Customer Support, and Management teams.
-   Escalate recurring customer concerns, operational challenges, and process gaps.
-   Share customer feedback, market insights, and sales trends with management.
-   Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes, customer experience, and team productivity.

### WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

-   **3+ years of professional experience** in sales, with strong exposure to **B2C, inside sales, telesales, or consultative sales**.
-   **1–2+ years of experience in team handling, sales leadership, or people management**.
-   Proven track record of achieving and exceeding **sales, conversion, and revenue targets**.
-   Strong customer-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Excellent objection-handling, negotiation, consultative selling, and closing abilities.
-   Experience managing, coaching, and developing sales representatives or counsellors.

-   Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable improvement plans.

-   Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
-   Experience conducting call audits, sales reviews, and performance discussions is preferred.
-   Experience in **Healthcare, Health-tech, Health Insurance, Insurance, Hospitals, Pharmacy, Diagnostics, Fintech, Banking, EdTech, B2C SaaS, Consumer Services, Inside Sales, or Telesales** will be an advantage.
-   Healthcare or insurance experience is preferred but **not mandatory** for candidates with strong consultative sales and team-leadership experience.
