We are looking for an experienced **Backend Developer** with 5–8 years of professional software development experience to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in **Golang, Microservices, and REST APIs**, along with a solid understanding of distributed systems, database design, performance optimization, and software engineering best practices.

You will work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to develop reliable backend services that support high-performance applications and business-critical workflows.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications and services using **Golang**.
-   Build and manage scalable **microservices-based architectures** with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and performance.
-   Design, develop, and integrate secure and well-documented **REST APIs** for internal and external applications.
-   Translate product and business requirements into efficient technical solutions and well-structured backend systems.
-   Develop reusable, clean, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
-   Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data consistency.
-   Implement authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, logging, and monitoring across backend services.
-   Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, production issues, and complex technical problems.
-   Write comprehensive unit, integration, and API tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
-   Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, containerization, deployment, and production support.
-   Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards, architecture, and development processes.
-   Monitor application performance and proactively identify opportunities for scalability and optimization.
-   Contribute to technical documentation, architecture decisions, and system design discussions.

### Must-Have Skills

-   **Golang:** Strong hands-on experience developing production-grade applications and backend services using Go.
-   **Microservices:** Proven experience designing and developing distributed, scalable microservices architectures.
-   **REST API:** Strong understanding of REST principles and hands-on experience building, integrating, securing, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
-   Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented/design principles, and software engineering fundamentals.
-   Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar technologies.
-   Understanding of concurrency, goroutines, channels, error handling, and performance optimization in Go.
-   Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.
-   Experience with testing frameworks, debugging, logging, and production troubleshooting.

### Good-to-Have Skills

-   Experience with **Docker and Kubernetes**.
-   Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
-   Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging/streaming technologies.
-   Understanding of distributed systems, caching, load balancing, and system scalability.
-   Exposure to observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
-   Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

### Qualifications

-   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
-   **5–8 years of relevant backend development experience**, with significant hands-on experience in Golang.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
-   Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to identifying and solving technical challenges.
