We are looking for a highly skilled **Senior Python Developer** with strong backend engineering expertise to design and build scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Python, API development, database optimization, cloud-native technologies, and distributed systems. You will play a key role in building robust backend services that power next-generation AI-driven products.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities  
 

-   Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using **Python**.  
     
-   Build high-performance RESTful APIs using **FastAPI** or **Flask**.  
     
-   Design efficient, scalable database schemas and optimize database performance.  
     
-   Develop thread-safe, concurrent, and high-throughput backend applications.  
     
-   Build clean, reusable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.  
     
-   Containerize applications using **Docker** and deploy them on **Kubernetes**.  
     
-   Develop and maintain API documentation using **OpenAPI/Swagger**.  
     
-   Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.  
     
-   Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.  
     

### Required Skills  
 

-   **8–12 years** of hands-on experience in Python backend development.  
     
-   Strong expertise in **Python 3.x**.  
     
-   Extensive experience with **FastAPI** and/or **Flask**.  
     
-   Strong hands-on experience with **SQLAlchemy ORM**, session management, and database transactions.  
     
-   Solid understanding of **multithreading, concurrency, asynchronous programming, and thread-safe application development**.  
     
-   Strong experience with **PostgreSQL** and/or **MySQL**, including database design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.  
     
-   Hands-on experience with **Docker** and **Kubernetes**.  
     
-   Experience deploying and managing applications on **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)**.  
     
-   Strong knowledge of **REST APIs**, **OpenAPI**, and **Swagger**.  
     
-   Experience with **Git**, code reviews, unit testing, and software engineering best practices.  
     
-   Good understanding of **microservices architecture**, distributed systems, and scalable application design.  
     

### Preferred Skills  
 

-   Experience building AI/ML-enabled applications.  
     
-   Exposure to **Redis**, **Kafka**, **RabbitMQ**, or similar messaging technologies.  
     
-   Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.  
     
-   Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and application performance optimization.  
     
-   Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
