We are seeking an experienced **Sr. HVAC Design Engineer** to lead a team of 3–5 engineers while taking ownership of end-to-end HVAC design responsibilities across a diverse range of building services projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, project coordination capabilities, client management skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality designs within defined timelines and commercial requirements.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Lead and mentor a team of 3–5 HVAC design engineers and oversee their day-to-day technical activities.
-   Take ownership of complete HVAC design responsibilities for assigned projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
-   Review and validate designs, calculations, drawings, documentation, and deliverables prepared by design engineers.
-   Prepare and explain **Design Basis Reports (DBRs)**, technical documents, drawings, and other design deliverables to clients, architects, and co-consultants.
-   Incorporate project-specific requirements and client feedback into design documents and obtain necessary approvals.
-   Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
-   Attend project meetings and take responsibility for project-related technical communication and follow-ups.
-   Conduct periodic site visits to address technical challenges, resolve site-related issues, and ensure design intent is implemented correctly.
-   Communicate critical project decisions and technical updates to team members and maintain proper documentation.
-   Monitor project progress and ensure assigned engineering and drafting activities remain on schedule.
-   Ensure projects are effectively managed across **design, drafting, execution, documentation, and commercial** aspects.
-   Support billing and payment follow-ups while keeping management and accounts teams updated on project status.
-   Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders.
-   Identify potential business opportunities through existing client and professional networks.
-   Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, mentoring, performance management, and retention of engineering and drafting team members.
-   Drive productivity, technical quality, and continuous improvement within the HVAC engineering team.
