We are looking for an experienced **Medical Affairs professional** with a strong clinical and scientific background, ideally with an **MBBS qualification and significant experience in Orthopaedics**. The role will lead medical and scientific initiatives that support product strategy, clinical engagement, evidence generation, scientific communication, and stakeholder education.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in **Orthopaedic medicine, medical affairs, clinical research, scientific communication, and healthcare stakeholder engagement**, with the ability to translate clinical evidence and medical insights into meaningful business and patient outcomes.

## Requirements

Key Responsibilities

-   Develop and execute comprehensive **Medical Affairs strategies** aligned with clinical, scientific, and business priorities.
-   Provide medical and scientific leadership across **Orthopaedic-focused products, therapies, and initiatives**.
-   Serve as a trusted medical resource for internal teams and external healthcare professionals.
-   Build and maintain strong relationships with **Orthopaedic surgeons, clinicians, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and scientific experts**.
-   Identify emerging clinical trends, unmet medical needs, treatment practices, and developments within Orthopaedics.
-   Support the development and review of scientifically accurate medical, clinical, and educational content.
-   Provide medical input into product positioning, scientific communication, marketing materials, and educational initiatives.
-   Lead or support **clinical research, evidence-generation programs, investigator-initiated studies, and real-world evidence initiatives** where applicable.
-   Develop and manage scientific engagement programs, advisory boards, expert meetings, and medical education initiatives.
-   Support participation in medical conferences, congresses, workshops, and scientific forums.
-   Review and communicate relevant clinical literature, guidelines, research findings, and scientific evidence.
-   Collaborate with Clinical Research, Regulatory, Marketing, Product, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams.
-   Provide medical guidance during product development, launches, lifecycle management, and post-launch initiatives.
-   Ensure all medical communications and activities comply with applicable **ethical, scientific, regulatory, and governance standards**.
-   Track developments in Orthopaedics, clinical practice, medical technology, and emerging treatment approaches.
-   Provide strategic medical insights to senior leadership and contribute to long-term medical and scientific planning.
-   Support training and capability-building initiatives for internal teams on relevant medical and clinical topics.

What Makes You a Great Fit

-   **10+ years of experience** in Medical Affairs, clinical research, medical leadership, or a closely related healthcare function.
-   **MBBS qualification is strongly preferred/required**, with relevant postgraduate medical or clinical qualifications being an advantage.
-   Strong clinical knowledge and professional experience in **Orthopaedics**.
-   Proven experience working with **Orthopaedic surgeons, clinicians, KOLs, and healthcare professionals**.
