We are seeking an experienced **Senior System Engineer** with strong expertise in system benchmarking, performance analysis, and hardware validation. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating the performance of modern computing platforms by conducting comprehensive CPU and GPU benchmarking, identifying performance bottlenecks, and providing actionable recommendations for optimization. You will work closely with hardware, firmware, software, and product engineering teams to ensure systems meet performance, stability, and reliability goals.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industry-standard benchmarking tools, particularly **PCMark**, along with a strong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and system-level performance analysis. You should be passionate about testing emerging technologies and delivering accurate, repeatable, and data-driven performance insights.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive benchmarking plans for desktop, workstation, and mobile computing platforms.
-   Perform detailed **CPU and GPU performance benchmarking** across different hardware configurations and operating environments.
-   Utilize **PCMark** and other industry-standard benchmarking tools to evaluate overall system performance, productivity, and workload efficiency.
-   Analyze benchmark results, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend hardware or software optimizations.
-   Validate system stability, thermal performance, power efficiency, and resource utilization under various workloads.
-   Develop automated test scripts and benchmarking workflows to improve testing efficiency and repeatability.
-   Collaborate with BIOS, firmware, driver, operating system, and hardware engineering teams to investigate and resolve performance-related issues.
-   Compare benchmark results across multiple platforms and generate comprehensive technical reports with meaningful insights.
-   Work with cross-functional teams to define performance acceptance criteria for new products and hardware releases.
-   Ensure benchmark methodologies are consistent, reproducible, and aligned with industry standards.
-   Stay current with the latest CPU, GPU, chipset, memory, and storage technologies to enhance benchmarking strategies.
-   Support product validation, performance tuning, and competitive analysis activities.

### Required Skills

-   6–10 years of experience in system engineering, performance validation, benchmarking, or hardware testing.
-   Strong expertise in **CPU and GPU benchmarking** methodologies and performance analysis.
-   Hands-on experience with **PCMark** for evaluating system performance and productivity workloads.
-   Deep understanding of processor architecture, graphics subsystems, memory hierarchy, storage technologies, and system components.
-   Experience analyzing benchmark metrics, performance logs, and resource utilization.
-   Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and system diagnostics tools.
-   Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI settings, firmware validation, and driver interactions affecting system performance.
-   Experience creating technical reports, performance dashboards, and benchmark comparison documents.
-   Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
-   Strong scripting knowledge using PowerShell, Python, or Bash for test automation is an advantage.
-   Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional engineering teams.

### Preferred Qualifications

-   Experience with additional benchmarking tools such as Cinebench, Geekbench, 3DMark, CrystalDiskMark, SPEC benchmarks, or PassMark.
-   Exposure to hardware validation, thermal testing, and power profiling.
-   Knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud-based testing environments.
-   Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration workflows.
-   Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
