We are looking for a talented Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python backend development and modern cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable APIs and microservices using FastAPI, developing automated test frameworks, and deploying applications in Kubernetes environments. Candidate should be very strong in coding.

In this role, you will work closely with product, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services that are reliable, secure, and scalable.

## Requirements

Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
-   Build comprehensive automated test suites using Pytest to ensure application quality, stability, and maintainability.
-   Develop, validate, and troubleshoot APIs using Postman and related API testing tools.
-   Deploy, manage, and support containerized applications within Kubernetes environments.
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
-   Optimize system performance, scalability, availability, and security across backend services.
-   Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
-   Investigate and resolve production issues, implementing sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
-   Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and automation scripts.
-   Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the evolution of backend platforms and services.

Required Skills

-   Strong proficiency in **Python** development.
-   Hands-on experience with **FastAPI** for building scalable backend services and APIs.
-   Experience writing automated tests using **Pytest**.
-   Proficiency with **Postman** for API development, validation, and troubleshooting.
-   Experience deploying and managing applications on **Kubernetes**.

Preferred Skills

-   Experience with **Redis** for caching and high-performance data access.
-   Familiarity with **LaunchDarkly** for feature flag management and controlled feature releases.
-   Experience using **New Relic** or similar observability and application monitoring platforms.
-   Knowledge of **PagerDuty** for incident management and operational response workflows.
-   Familiarity with **TestRail** for test management and quality assurance processes.
-   Experience working with **AWS S3** and cloud-based object storage services.

Preferred Qualifications

-   Experience designing and supporting distributed systems and microservices architectures.
-   Understanding of API security principles, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.
-   Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows.
-   Knowledge of logging, monitoring, tracing, and observability best practices.
-   Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to thrive in agile, collaborative, and fast-paced development environments.
