**This role is for one of Weekday’s clients  
Salary range: Rs 4000000 - Rs 5000000 (ie INR 40 - 50 LPA)**

We are looking for an experienced Java Architect to design and oversee scalable, robust Java-based enterprise applications. This role involves leading development teams, defining architecture, ensuring coding best practices, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.

## Requirements

**Key Responsibilities:**  
Define scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures  
Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools  
Lead and mentor development teams to ensure technical excellence  
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders  
Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards  
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance  
Drive adoption of modern design patterns and best practices  
Ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery

**Required Skills:**  
Strong experience in Java 8 and above  
Hands-on experience with Servlet and JSP  
Experience in writing unit tests using JUnit  
Knowledge of XML processing  
Experience with build tools like ANT  
Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture  
Experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting  
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills  
**Preferred Skills:**

Experience in Insurance domain  
Exposure to modern frameworks and architectural patterns

**Eligibility / Qualifications:**

Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days
