We are looking for an experienced and scientifically driven **Medical Affairs Specialist** to support medical strategy, scientific engagement, medical research, and evidence-based communication across healthcare and pharmaceutical initiatives. The role requires strong expertise in **medical research, medico-marketing, and medical advisory**, along with the ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, credible, and clinically relevant insights.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical, Sales, and Commercial functions to ensure that medical and scientific perspectives are appropriately incorporated into business and product strategies.

## Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-   Develop and execute **medical affairs strategies** aligned with product, therapeutic area, and business objectives.
-   Conduct comprehensive **medical research**, including literature reviews, evidence evaluation, scientific landscape assessments, and competitor research.
-   Analyse clinical studies, scientific publications, treatment guidelines, and emerging evidence to identify relevant medical insights.
-   Provide medical and scientific input into product strategy, lifecycle planning, and cross-functional business initiatives.
-   Support **medico-marketing strategies** by reviewing and developing scientifically accurate product messaging and communication materials.
-   Review promotional, educational, and marketing content for medical accuracy, scientific validity, and appropriate claims.
-   Develop medical education materials, scientific presentations, FAQs, briefing documents, and other medical communication resources.
-   Act as a **medical advisor** to Marketing, Sales, Commercial, Regulatory, and other internal stakeholders.
-   Provide scientific guidance on disease areas, treatment approaches, clinical evidence, product positioning, and emerging medical trends.
-   Support engagement with **Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, researchers, and external medical experts**.
-   Plan and support medical meetings, advisory boards, scientific discussions, conferences, and educational initiatives.
-   Identify relevant gaps in medical knowledge and recommend opportunities for evidence generation and scientific engagement.
-   Collaborate with Clinical, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, and Medical teams on product-related medical activities.
-   Monitor developments in clinical research, treatment guidelines, competitor pipelines, and the broader therapeutic landscape.
-   Ensure medical activities and communications follow applicable scientific, ethical, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
-   Maintain accurate documentation of medical research, scientific evidence, stakeholder interactions, and medical initiatives.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

-   **7+ years of experience** in Medical Affairs, Medical Advisory, Medical Research, Clinical Research, Medico-Marketing, or a related pharmaceutical/healthcare function.
-   Strong hands-on experience in **medical research and evidence evaluation**.
-   Proven experience supporting or leading **medico-marketing initiatives** and scientific communication.
-   Strong experience working as a **Medical Advisor** or in a comparable medical-facing role.
-   Advanced understanding of clinical research, scientific literature, evidence-based medicine, and healthcare practices.
-   Ability to critically evaluate clinical studies, publications, treatment guidelines, and medical evidence.
-   Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, therapeutic areas, clinical development, and healthcare stakeholder engagement.
-   Experience developing and reviewing medical, scientific, educational, and promotional content.
-   Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with healthcare professionals and internal leadership.
-   Experience working cross-functionally with **Marketing, Sales, Clinical, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, and Commercial teams**.
-   Strong analytical, research, interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
-   Excellent attention to scientific accuracy, compliance, and detail.
