We are seeking a Data Privacy Consultant to help organizations strengthen their privacy and data protection practices while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. This role combines expertise in privacy regulations with a practical understanding of technology, information security, and data governance.

As a key contributor, you will work closely with business, legal, IT, and engineering teams to implement privacy frameworks, conduct compliance assessments, and embed privacy-by-design principles into business processes and technology solutions. The role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about data protection, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Support the implementation and management of privacy compliance programs aligned with regulations such as GDPR, DPDPA, CCPA, and other applicable privacy laws.
-   Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), and privacy gap assessments.
-   Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default controls across systems and applications.
-   Review business processes and data flows to identify privacy risks and recommend remediation measures.
-   Draft, review, and maintain privacy policies, notices, consent mechanisms, and compliance documentation.
-   Assist in privacy audits, ISO 27001/27701 assessments, and risk management initiatives.
-   Support data governance activities, including personal data mapping, classification, and lifecycle management.
-   Monitor regulatory changes and help translate legal requirements into practical operational and technical controls.
-   Participate in third-party risk assessments and vendor privacy reviews.
-   Maintain accurate compliance records and provide support during regulatory reviews and audits.
-   Work with stakeholders across functions to ensure privacy obligations are effectively understood and implemented.

### What Makes You a Great Fit

-   Strong understanding of privacy regulations including GDPR, DPDPA, CCPA, and related data protection frameworks.
-   Experience in privacy compliance, information security, risk management, or governance-related roles.
-   Familiarity with PIA, DPIA, RoPA, privacy assessments, and compliance documentation.
-   Basic understanding of data flows, cloud environments, information security controls, and technology architectures.
-   Ability to collaborate effectively with legal, compliance, IT, and engineering teams.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
-   Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
-   Understanding of privacy-by-design concepts and their practical implementation.
-   Experience supporting ISO 27001, ISO 27701, or similar governance and compliance initiatives is an advantage.
-   Degree in Law, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
-   A proactive mindset with a keen interest in privacy, cybersecurity, and emerging regulatory developments.
