We are looking for an experienced **Senior Backend Engineer** with strong expertise in **Golang, backend development, REST APIs, and microservices** to design and build scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems.

The role is suited for an engineer with strong software development fundamentals and hands-on experience building distributed applications. You will contribute to system architecture, backend engineering, performance optimisation, and the development of robust services that can support evolving business and customer requirements.

## Requirements

Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using **Golang/Go**.
-   Build robust, secure, and high-performance **RESTful APIs and microservices**.
-   Design and implement distributed systems that support scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
-   Participate in **system design and architecture** discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
-   Develop clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
-   Design efficient data models and work with **SQL and NoSQL databases**.
-   Optimise backend services for performance, scalability, availability, and resource utilisation.
-   Containerise applications using **Docker** and support deployments through **Kubernetes**.
