We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python and FastAPI to build and scale high-performance systems in an AI-driven environment. This role focuses on developing robust backend services that power intelligent, automation-driven applications, particularly in areas involving conversational AI and large-scale data processing.

You will work on designing and building APIs, integrating AI/LLM capabilities, and ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and efficient. The role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in the AI and voice automation space, contributing to products that streamline high-volume communication workflows across industries.

## Requirements

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python and FastAPI
-   Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for high-performance applications
-   Integrate AI/LLM or agentic workflows into backend services where applicable
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, AI/ML, and frontend to deliver end-to-end solutions
-   Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability through best engineering practices
-   Debug and resolve complex technical issues across services and environments
-   Implement clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
-   Contribute to architectural decisions and backend design improvements
-   Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of backend systems

**What Makes You a Great Fit**

-   Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in FastAPI or similar frameworks
-   Solid understanding of backend development, APIs, and microservices architecture
-   Educational background in Computer Engineering (B.Tech from a top-tier institute preferred)
-   Exposure to AI concepts such as LLMs or Agentic AI systems is a strong advantage
-   Experience working with scalable systems and handling high-throughput applications
-   Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
-   Ability to work in a fast-paced, product-driven environment
-   Good collaboration and communication skills
