We are looking for an experienced **SAP CO Consultant** with strong expertise in **Product Costing, COPA, S/4HANA, and manufacturing finance processes**. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful SAP CO implementations and the ability to independently engage with business stakeholders at senior finance and leadership levels.

This role is suited for a consulting professional who can translate complex finance and costing requirements into scalable SAP solutions while driving implementation activities from requirement gathering through deployment.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Lead and deliver **end-to-end SAP CO implementation projects**, from requirement gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
-   Configure and implement SAP CO processes across **Product Costing, COPA, Cost Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis**.
-   Work extensively with manufacturing finance processes and ensure effective integration between **SAP FI and CO**.
-   Support **PP-CO integration**, including production costing and manufacturing-related controlling processes.
-   Implement and support S/4HANA capabilities including **Material Ledger, Margin Analysis, and Universal Journal**.
-   Conduct workshops with business users, finance teams, CFOs, and senior stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend appropriate SAP solutions.
-   Translate business requirements into functional specifications and SAP configuration.
-   Coordinate with technical, functional, and business teams throughout implementation and testing cycles.
-   Lead functional testing, defect resolution, user acceptance testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
-   Provide guidance on process improvements, reporting, costing methodologies, and financial controls.
-   Support project documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live stabilization.
-   Travel to client locations when required for workshops, implementation activities, or project support.

### What's Makes You a Great Fit

-   **7–8 years of SAP CO experience** with at least **2–3 complete implementation projects**. Pure support experience will not qualify.
-   Strong hands-on expertise in **Product Costing and COPA** within manufacturing environments.
-   Proven experience with **SAP S/4HANA**, particularly Material Ledger, Margin Analysis, and Universal Journal concepts.
-   Strong understanding of **FI-CO integration** and manufacturing processes, including PP-CO integration.
-   Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to independently lead client workshops.
-   Confidence interacting with **CFOs, Finance Heads, and senior business stakeholders**.
-   Strong consulting, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
-   Willingness to travel to client locations as required.
-   **CMA (Cost & Management Accountant)** qualification is a strong advantage.
-   SAP CO/S/4HANA Management Accounting certification is preferred.
-   Exposure to **RISE with SAP or GROW with SAP** engagements is an advantage.
-   Knowledge of **Group Reporting, PaPM, or SAC Planning** is a plus.
-   Experience in industries such as **auto ancillary, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or cement** will be an added advantage.
