At Factory 01, Westmag's launch manufacturing facility and headquarters, the company designs, automatically winds, assembles, and validates every motor and actuator on its integrated production platform. Motors and actuators share many common materials and production processes, so Westmag designs and builds both on a shared architecture and scales them as common building blocks with high SKU mix and high volumes. The company is vertically integrating design, manufacturing, and supply chain — investing upstream in subcomponent capacity such as electromagnet stator steel stamping and rare earth magnet finishing, with key suppliers in the U.S. and allied countries. Westmag is ramping production at Factory 01 to fulfill committed customer orders for hundreds of thousands of units, and is hiring across manufacturing, supply chain, design engineering, automation, sales, and operations at its South San Francisco headquarters.</p>
