## Description

Our client Studio Monday is hiring multiple **freelance motion designers** with strong **B2B SaaS** experience to support ongoing client projects. If you love turning product workflows into clean, modern stories and polished animations, we want to see your work.

### What we create

You will help produce high-quality videos for SaaS and tech companies, including:

-   Explainer videos
-   Product launch videos
-   Product demo videos

### Portfolio requirement (important)

To be considered, you should add your portfolio link to the application, and it must include work similar to the examples in our reference library:

You should have SaaS video experience with 3+ videos in your portfolio.

### Responsibilities

-   Create **storyboards and/or design frames** for B2B SaaS videos, translating product workflows into clear, modern visual narratives.
-   Produce **high-quality motion design animation** (2D, UI/workflow animation), delivering polished scenes with strong pacing and clarity.
-   Collaborate with the team to ensure the video stays aligned with the intended story, messaging, and brand guidelines.
-   Organize and present storyboard scenes in **Figma** to support clear, scene-by-scene feedback and revisions.
-   Iterate efficiently through **revision rounds**, applying feedback while maintaining consistency and quality.
-   Communicate reliably and take ownership of timelines and deliverables within a fast-paced production environment.

### Background

-   Proven experience as a **motion designer** producing work for **B2B SaaS** (storyboards and/or animation).
-   Strong skills in **UI and workflow animation**, with a modern, clean visual style.
-   Demonstrated ability in **storytelling, pacing, and clarity**, especially for product-focused narratives.
-   Comfortable working in **Figma** for storyboard frame design and/or presentation.
-   Ability to focus primarily on **storyboarding**, primarily on **animation**, or handle **both** end-to-end, depending on the project needs.

### Project pace and timelines

We move fast and keep projects organized.

-   Many **60-second videos are delivered within 14 to 16 days**
-   Some projects move faster depending on client timelines
-   We occasionally work weekends to hit deadlines; **any additional weekend work is compensated**

## Requirements

-   Proven **SaaS motion design** experience
-   Modern **UI and workflow animation** skills
-   Strong understanding of **pacing, clarity, and storytelling**
-   Experience designing and/or uploading **storyboard frames in Figma**
-   Ability to follow **brand guidelines** closely
-   Comfort working through **revision rounds**
-   Organized, reliable communication and ownership

### Availability requirement

You must be able to communicate in the **Eastern Time Zone window: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST**.

### How we work

We present storyboard scenes to clients in **Figma**, making feedback and revisions easy to manage scene by scene.

### Hiring process

A strong portfolio matters most. Selected candidates will complete a **paid test project** involving storyboard design and animation.
