### Company and Job Overview

Busy Bee’s Provider Services is a healthcare support and management company focused on helping providers and clinics improve operational efficiency. Our services include credentialing, billing, administrative support, and data management.

We are transitioning from legacy systems to advanced platforms such as Verity, Health Stream, and Healthie, and we are seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant to support this migration and provide ongoing administrative, credentialing, and billing assistance.

### Key Responsibilities

### Data Migration & Records Management

-   Transfer and input patient demographics, provider licenses, and payer/insurance information from legacy systems into new platforms (e.g., Verity, Health Stream, Healthie).
-   Ensure accuracy and completeness of transferred data.
-   Organize, track, and maintain updated digital records post-migration.
-   Assist in verifying and updating missing or outdated data elements as needed.

### Credentialing & Licensure

-   Audit provider documentation to ensure all credentials and licenses are valid and current.
-   Review and update provider credentialing files.
-   Verify licensure, certifications, and NPI details.
-   Monitor expiration dates and flag non-compliant files.
-   Assist in gathering and preparing documentation for credentialing and re-credentialing processes.

### Administrative Support

-   Schedule patient appointments and send reminders.
-   Update and manage patient records using EMR systems (Healthie).
-   Communicate with providers and internal stakeholders.
-   Support the setup and maintenance of telehealth platforms.

### Insurance & Billing

-   Perform insurance benefits verification and eligibility checks.
-   Support enrollment application processes and assist with appeals.
-   Assist in claims processing and other billing-related tasks.
-   Collaborate with internal staff for seamless process alignment.

## Requirements

-   Healthcare experience: Not mandatory, but familiarity with administrative processes and healthcare systems is preferred.
-   Virtual Assistant experience: Minimum 1–2 years in a remote administrative or healthcare VA role.
-   Medical license: Not required, though understanding of credentialing and healthcare procedures is advantageous.

### Basic requirements

-   Must be proficient in speaking and writing English very clearly
-   Must have relevant work experience
-   Be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding \[mandatory\]
-   Must be available for video meetings with your camera on (when needed)

### Technical requirements
