As the Healthcare Virtual Assistant, you will assist with appointment scheduling, patient communication, insurance verification, billing support, medical records management, and healthcare administrative workflows. You will also help coordinate communication between patients and healthcare professionals while ensuring all records and documentation are maintained accurately and securely.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism are essential for success in this role. Candidates with previous healthcare administrative experience and familiarity with EHR systems—particularly Kareo Clinical—are highly encouraged to apply.

### Scope of Work / Responsibilities

### Patient Scheduling & Communication

-   Schedule patient appointments and send reminders
-   Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and text communication
-   Provide professional, compassionate, and timely patient support
-   Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers

### Medical Records & Administrative Support

-   Manage and maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
-   Organize administrative documentation and communication workflows
-   Compile medical research and prepare reports as needed
-   Manage email and text correspondence, including sorting, prioritizing, responding, and sending newsletters

### Insurance & Billing Support

-   Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage
-   Provide billing support and assist with medical invoicing
-   Support healthcare administrative and operational workflows as needed
