We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Front Office Customer Engagement & Sales Administrator to be the face of our operations in Philippi. This is a client-facing role at the heart of our business - you will be the first point of contact for customers walking through our doors, calling in, or reaching out digitally.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

-   Welcome and assist walk-in clients, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
-   Respond to customer queries across multiple channels, including in person, telephonically and via digital platforms.
-   Process customer sign-ups, applications and payments accurately and efficiently.
-   Educate clients on available products and services.
-   Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records across internal systems.
-   Handle document management, including scanning, filing and record-keeping.
-   Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate team members.
-   Complete daily reconciliation procedures.
-   Support colleagues across departments with general administrative tasks.
-   Be available and attentive during peak customer periods, particularly at month-end and month-start.
-   Escalate complex queries or issues to the relevant team lead in a timely manner.
-   Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation and systems to enhance team efficiency and reduce repeat queries.
-   Execute on digital customer engagement to meet service targets during quieter in-office periods.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Experience

-   Matric (Grade 12) - required.
-   A post-matric qualification in Administration, Business, or a related field is advantageous.
-   Minimum 1 - 2 years' experience in a customer-facing or front office role.
-   Comfortable navigating multiple systems and quick to learn new software - you should be someone who picks up new tools easily and isn't intimidated by technology.
-   Proficiency in general office software (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
-   Experience in telecoms, retail, or a service-oriented environment is an advantage.

### Skills and Competencies

-   Excellent communication skills - verbal and written - in English. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
-   Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, professional and patient approach to client interactions.
-   Solid administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
-   Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
-   Comfortable working with computer systems, including data capturing, digital communication tools and general office software.
-   Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think on your feet.
-   Team player who is equally comfortable working independently.
-   Proactive and takes initiative - especially in identifying ways to improve day-to-day processes.
-   Professional presentation and a client-first attitude.
