## Description

We are looking for an organised, hands-on and solutions-focused Field Team Controller to coordinate and oversee our field teams across the ikeja Gauteng network.

You will be responsible for coordinating daily field activities, allocating work, monitoring team performance and ensuring installation and maintenance work is completed efficiently and to ikeja’s standards. You’ll also support the day-to-day operational needs of our teams, including resolving customer and operational issues and ensuring teams have the resources they need to get the job done.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Coordinate and allocate daily work across field teams, ensuring activities are planned and completed efficiently.
-   Monitor field team performance, productivity and work quality, addressing operational issues where required.
-   Support field teams with day-to-day operational and customer-related challenges.
-   Ensure field work is completed in line with ikeja’s operational, quality and safety standards.
-   Maintain accurate operational records and provide regular updates and reporting on field activities.
-   Coordinate key operational requirements, including team resources, vehicles, tools and equipment.
-   Support employee attendance, overtime and other day-to-day workforce administration.
-   Identify operational challenges and work with relevant teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
-   Support team development, engagement and accountability.
-   Contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of field operations.
-   Perform other operational duties reasonably required to support the successful running of the field teams.

## Requirements

### Qualifications

-   Grade 12 / Matric.
-   A business, operations, management or other relevant qualification is advantageous.
-   A valid driver's licence is preferred.

### Experience

-   2 - 3 years’ experience in operations, field team coordination, telecommunications, logistics, or a similar operational environment.

-   Experience coordinating and monitoring field teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
-   Experience managing day-to-day field operations and coordinating the allocation and completion of work.
-   Experience dealing with customer and employee-related queries and resolving operational issues.
-   Experience in the telecommunications industry, particularly installation and maintenance, will be advantageous.
-   Familiarity with operational systems and data management.
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and internal software systems.
-   Experience with attendance, overtime, operational reporting or similar administrative processes will be advantageous.
-   Strong problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills.
-   Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
-   Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a high level of accountability and efficiency.
-   A practical understanding of vehicles, tools, PPE and general field operational requirements will be advantageous.
