### Supervisor, Accounting

**What You’ll Do**

-   Oversee the preparation and review of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, variance analyses, property/tenant statistics, and general ledger reconciliations
-   Manage tax preparation and REIT testing processes
-   Supervise and review the work of Property Accountants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
-   Take ownership of more complex property financial statements and reporting
-   Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
-   5-7 years of general ledger and financial statement preparation experience, ideally in a property management or real estate environment
-   Public Accounting experience preferred
-   Extensive experience with GAAP and REIT testing
-   Prior management or supervisory experience preferred
