## Description

**Small Engine Mechanic**

**Location:** Scott Depot

**Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM  
Overtime Available

**Pay Rate:** Starting at $16.00 per hour, depending on experience

**Job Responsibilities:**

-   Perform maintenance and repairs on lawn mowers and weed eaters
-   Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment problems
-   Replace or repair damaged parts as needed
-   Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance
-   Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation
-   Maintain a clean and organized work area
-   May perform other duties as required

**Job Requirements:**

-   Previous small engine mechanic experience preferred
-   Knowledge of lawn mower and weed eater maintenance and repairs
-   Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems
-   Steel toe shoes required
-   Jeans or long pants required
-   Ability to lift and perform physical labor as needed
-   Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
-   Good problem-solving skills
-   Strong communication and teamwork skills
-   Ability to work independently and follow instructions
