## Description

Welder / Metal Fabricator

**Location:** Nitro, WV

**Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM  
**Saturday:** 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM

**Pay Rate:** $16.50 per hour

### Job Responsibilities:

-   Dismantle metal assemblies and prepare materials for processing and recycling.
-   Cut and process scrap metal using a flame-cutting torch and other appropriate equipment.
-   Position, align, fit, and weld metal parts together according to job requirements.
-   Perform welding repairs, patch holes, and repair damaged metal surfaces.
-   Assist with repairing, maintaining, and painting dumpsters as needed.
-   Safely operate welding equipment, cutting torches, and hand tools.
-   Inspect materials and completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
-   Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures when handling equipment and materials.
-   Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
-   Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

### Job Requirements:

-   Previous welding, metal fabrication, or metalworking experience is preferred.
-   Ability to use a flame-cutting torch and welding equipment safely and effectively.
-   Experience dismantling metal assemblies, cutting scrap metal, or performing metal repairs is a plus.
-   Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and maintain productivity.
-   Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
-   Reliable attendance, a dependable work history, and reliable transportation are required.
-   Ability to perform physical labor, handle materials, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
-   Must be willing to work the required weekday and Saturday schedule.
-   Strong work ethic and the ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
