Job Description

We Staff Better is seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to assist with temporary roofing projects, jobsite cleanup, and other general labor duties throughout the Charleston area. This is a temporary, on-call position for individuals who are flexible, reliable, and ready to work when projects become available.

**Please note:** This is an as-needed position, and work is not guaranteed every day. Hours and assignments will depend on project schedules and business needs. Candidates must be available to respond when contacted about work opportunities.

Responsibilities

-   Assist with temporary roofing projects and general labor tasks.
-   Load, unload, lift, carry, and move materials as needed.
-   Perform jobsite cleanup, including debris removal and disposal.
-   Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
-   Follow all jobsite safety guidelines and instructions.
-   Assist crew members with additional duties as assigned.
-   Perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
-   Work efficiently and cooperatively with team members.

Qualifications

-   No previous experience required; training will be provided.
-   Ability to lift, carry, bend, twist, stand, and walk for extended periods.
-   Comfortable performing physically demanding work.
-   Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
-   Ability to follow instructions and work safely as part of a team.
-   Flexible availability for temporary, on-call assignments.
