**Overview / Job Summary:**

The Nursing Faculty position plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional educational experience for students pursuing careers in healthcare. This position is ideal for nursing professionals who enjoy sharing their expertise, supporting student growth, and contributing to a collaborative academic environment committed to excellence.

As a Nursing Faculty member, you'll inspire and prepare students for successful careers in healthcare by:

-   Teaching classroom, laboratory, and clinical nursing courses
-   Developing engaging learning experiences that connect theory to practice
-   Mentoring and supporting students throughout their educational journey
-   Maintaining student records, grades, attendance, and required documentation
-   Developing and updating curriculum to meet industry standards
-   Participating in program assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement efforts
-   Staying current with nursing practice and educational best practices

## Requirements

### **Education**

**Preferred**

-   Master's Degree in Nursing

**Required**

-   Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
-   ADN candidates may be considered for the Practical Nursing program with an approved degree completion plan upon hire.

### **Qualifications**

We're looking for compassionate professionals who have:

-   At least two years of current nursing, nurse educator, nurse practitioner, or closely related experience
-   An active, unrestricted Kansas RN license maintained throughout employment
-   The ability to obtain required clinical site health screenings, TB testing, immunizations, and CPR certification
-   Previous teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring experience is preferred—but not required
