## Description

We are looking for passionate and driven individuals who are looking to upskills to become competent Cybersecurity professionals. You will be provided a quick ramp-up training program with this exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in safeguarding information systems and enablement of secure operations for both internal and external clients.

You will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to enterprise projects, and develop practical skills in delivering scalable cybersecurity solutions. ## Requirements

Role Responsibilities

-   Performing security testing, including penetration tests, to uncover weaknesses, create threat models, and assess risks.
-   To also implement security tools and automate testing within CI/CD pipelines.
-   In addition to responding to security incidents, educate developers on secure coding practices and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.

-   Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are followed.
-   Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
-   Perform continuous monitoring of security systems and assist in incident response activities.
-   Analyze current cybersecurity systems and recommend improvements and modifications to enhance security measures.
-   Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports on findings, procedures, and recommendations.
-   Provide mentorship and guidance to other junior cybersecurity engineers in the team

**Qualifications:**

-   Diploma/degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
-   5 to 8 years of working experience of which 1 to 2 years of experience in cybersecurity related scope will be advantageous.
-   Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks
-   Knowledge of security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.
-   Relevant certifications (Security+, CEH, CISSP) are advantageous but not compulsory. Training will be provided for the required certifications.
-   Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-   Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-   Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Eligibility Criteria for IMDA-CLT Program

Trainees eligible for the CLT must minimally be:

-   Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR).
-   Able to commit to completing the full training program.
-   Able to meet the hiring requirements of the companies.

Conditions of Applications for IMDA-CLT Program

-   While an applicant may meet the eligibility criteria, all applicants are subjected to the company’s review for suitability with its hiring requirements, and may not be automatically shortlisted for interview.
